Interested in India? Good, because I have some exciting facts I would like to share with you!

I've been doing a project on India on PowerPoint in school. I chose India to write about because it has an important role to play in my life (my grandfather was from India). So here are some facts on India!

• Indira Gandhi was the first Prime Minister of India
  
• The people of India speak over 100 different languages, including:  Hindi, English and Sanskrit
• The people of India are very fond of curry as they like spicy foods
• The Taj Mahal shines different colours throughout the day
• The currency in India consists of the Indian Rupee.
