Five Popular Websites For Kids (8-15yrs)

Lots of people have children, so I thought I would give them a little information for when their kids get to the age when they get glued to the laptop.

Feel free to tell anyone about it.

1. Club Penguin: Waddle around and meet new friends! (I mentioned Club Penguin on one of my other posts.)

2. Stardoll, one for girls around the age of 12yrs. All about fashion and dress up. (Decorate your house, make an avatar/doll, dress your avatar/doll, etc.)

3.Moshi Monsters. Boys and girls arond the age of 8 love to play this game. You get to choose your monster, make a house and win monster trophies.

4. Yoobot VS Yoonot. Make your youbot (mini you) and care for it to keep it healthy, but watch out for your yoonot!!! (Yoonot: By mistake, inventor of yoobots, Gunter von Gunter, made a yoonot!) For children aged 9-15. Sponsored by the British Heart Foundation.

5. Poptropica, a place your child can explore their imagination. They can make their own character and then go on adventures on the 'islands'. The more islands they explore, the more medals they get and the more coins they redeem to buy 'magic costumes'. For children aged 8-15.

Book Review: Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince was published by Bloomsbury in 2005.

In this book, Draco Malfoy has a 'dark' secret and Harry has trouble in Defence Against the Dark Arts lessons with Professor Snape!

The character I liked the most in this book was Luna Lovegood because whenever she was picked on by the Slytherins she did not care. I also liked the way she was so mysterious.

I thought this book was the 2nd best in the series (Next to Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban!). I thought this because it had a lot of 'secrets' in it, so you always want to read it to the end!

I think boys from the ages of 11-16 would love to read this book.

To end this book review I should probably say that I would also recommend this book to adults of all ages.
